Sektor pertanian adalah sektor yang memegang peranan penting dalam pembangunan. Salah satu desa yang memiliki kelebihan dan potensi di bidang pertanian adalah Desa Jeru. Desa Jeru memiliki potensi pertanian yang paling unggul adalah singkong dan beras. Dari komoditas ini, masyarakat dapat memanfaatkannya dengan menghasilkan produk pertanian asli desa. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut dibutuhkan merek dagang dan logo untuk memunculkan ciri khas desa Jeru serta memberikan nilai jual tambahan bagi produk pertanian khas Desa Jeru.
