TRAINING OF TRAINER KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL PADA KOMUNITAS INSAN GENERASI BERENCANA (GENRE) KABUPATEN MALANG

Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DPPKB) Kabupaten Malang meluncurkan Program Generasi Berencana (GENRE) yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja tentang kehidupan pernikahan, kehidupan keluarga, pendidikan, serta pembentukan karakter generasi muda untuk membangun bangsa. Namun Ketua Insan GENRE Kabupaten Malang mengungkapkan bahwa para anggota Insan GENRE masih kurang memahami metode atau cara penyampaian yang efektif ketika mengedukasi terkait isu-isu psikologis. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan peserta dalam menyampaikan informasi, konseling, dan penyelesaian masalah yang kerap dijumpai anggota GENRE. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui Workshop Keterampilan Sosial Training of Trainee yang terbagi ke dalam tujuh sesi. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan pada hari sabtu tanggal 10 Agustus 2024 pukul 07.00 hingga pukul 15.00. Pada kegiatan ini, terdapat 29 peserta yang hadir yang juga merupakan anggota GENRE Kabupaten Malang. Pada akhir pelaksanaan, peserta diminta untuk memberikan penilaian dan feedback terhadap kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Dari beberapa penilaian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan keterampilan sosial merupakan kegiatan yang memang dibutuhkan bagi anggota GENRE. Selain itu berdasarkan penilaian tersebut, peneliti juga dapat melihat beberapa faktor pendukung kegiatan serta faktor yang menghambat kegiatan ini.
