Abstract

Products of aquaculture activities have an important contribution in nutrition for the community. This Community Service in Nunneo Buraen Aquaculture Pond aims to provide information related to the benefits of fish consumption, especially for stunting prevention and training on processed catfish (Clarias sp.) obtained from aquaculture. The subjects of this community service are the Buraen Community around the Nunneo Fish pond and Tunas Muda Buraen Farmer Group. The stages of service are starting from: (1) education on stunting and the benefits of consuming fish and introduction to high nutritional value aquaculture fish products, (2) training in making processed aquaculture fish into grilled meatballs "Salome" products. The final evaluation found that the community gained a better understanding/knowledge of stunting and the benefits of consuming aquaculture fish and increased their skills in producing processed fish feed from catfish in the form of grilled salome.
