Assistance for NIB Registration in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Using the OSS Platform

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy by creating job opportunities, distributing income, and contributing to Gross Domestic Product  growth. Despite their importance, MSMEs often face administrative and licensing constraints, including the acquisition of a Business Identification Number  through the Online Single Submission  system. The aim of this service is to provide assistance to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the registration process for the Business Identification Number in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Through identification, socialization, and assistance, the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Donat E.Co and Nasi Kuning Nasi Uduk Mb Yuli successfully obtained their Business Identification Numbers. The results show an improvement in the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises regarding the Business Identification Number, its benefits, and an increase in their confidence in managing their businesses. Recommendations include efforts to raise awareness among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, continuous mentoring, ease of access to information, the use of technology, and collaboration to support the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. It is expected that this support will help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises overcome administrative barriers and contribute more significantly to the local economy in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
