Abstrak

Penggunaan kondom merupakan langkah strategis dalam pencegahan Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) dan Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS), namun pengetahuan yang terbatas, miskonsepsi, dan stigma masih menjadi hambatan pada Wanita Pekerja Seks (WPS) dan kliennya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan: meningkatkan pengetahuan, persepsi dan menurunkan stigma terkait penggunaan kondom melalui edukasi video, demonstrasi penggunaan kondom dan pembagian kondom gratis. Kegiatan menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR) pada empat empat lokasi prostitusi (timung) di Waena, Kota Jayapura selama satu minggu (9-16 Oktober 2025) dengan 50 peserta (30 WPS dan 20 klien). Data dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test . Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dari 6,84 menjadi 9,46 (p<0,001) dan persepsi dari 5,98 menjadi 8,32 (p<0,001) serta adanya penurunan stigma terkait penggunaan kondom sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dari 7,40 menjadi 5,18 (p<0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi audiovisual yang dipadukan dengan demonstrasi praktis merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam mendukung perilaku seksual yang lebih aman.
