Pelatihan kesiapsiagaan bencana di Desa Karangbanjar menghadapi tantangan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bencana. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperkuat kapasitas adaptasi dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat melalui edukasi dan simulasi praktik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan praktik, dan simulasi bencana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta, seperti dibuktikan oleh hasil pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman secara statistik signifikan. Evaluasi kemajuan peserta, yang diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test, mengungkap peningkatan pemahaman yang substansial dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 5.9 menjadi 7.1. Peningkatan ini, yang mewakili peningkatan pemahaman keseluruhan sebesar 34.61%, secara statistik divalidasi melalui Uji t berpasangan (paired t-test), di mana hasilnya menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara skor pretest dan post-test dengan statistik uji sebesar -2.708 dan p-value sebesar 0.0112. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan proaktivitas masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana, membuktikan pentingnya pendidikan kesiapsiagaan bencana dalam membangun masyarakat yang tangguh.
