Abstrak

This community service aims to empower MSMEs in the culinary sector in Legok Village, Tangerang, Banten, through efficient electricity management training. Legok Village, which is famous for its traditional culinary, faces problems in managing electricity consumption. Various electrical equipment used for culinary production needs to be managed properly to save energy. The training method includes two stages, namely theory and practice. The first stage provided participants with materials on the basics of energy saving, selection of electrical equipment, and strategies for reducing daily electricity consumption. In the second stage, participants simulated energy monitoring using an excel calculator that had been designed by the resource person, as well as interactive discussions. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' knowledge and awareness of energy management. Before the training, 53% of the 19 participants had limited understanding. Afterward, 57.9% of participants reported an increase in knowledge, with 31.6% experiencing significant improvement. Participants' satisfaction with the training method that combined theory and practice was very high, indicating that the training was effective.
