Abstrak

Pisang merupakan komoditas strategis yang berperan penting dalam ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi petani, namun produksinya terancam oleh organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT) seperti Fusarium wilt dan Sigatoka. Keterbatasan pengetahuan petani dalam mengenali gejala awal penyakit menjadi alasan utama dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini di Kampung Tumbit Dayak. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan inti, dan evaluasi, dengan pendekatan ceramah interaktif, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik lapangan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari nilai rata-rata pretest 55,5 menjadi post test 80, serta meningkatnya keterampilan observasi dan deteksi dini di lapangan. Partisipasi aktif peserta juga memperkuat relevansi materi dengan pengalaman praktik mereka. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis pengalaman dan praktik efektif meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam pengelolaan OPT. Dengan demikian, pelatihan kontekstual menjadi strategi penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan produksi pisang dan ketahanan pangan lokal.
