Abstract

The writing that we do aims to find out the role that has been carried out by zakat, infaq, and shadaqah in improving the welfare of an economy of society in Indonesia as the title of the journal that we have given, entitled “the role of zakat, infak, and shadaqah in improving the economic welfare of the community” then we will also discuss the meaning of ZIS. Zakat, infak and shadaqah is one form of charity worship of a moslem with the aim of seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT. In doing zakat, infaq and shadaqah can reduce the amount of poverty that exists. Therefore, it is necessary to have a management agency that takes care of zakat, infak and shadaqah that can manage it well and can improve the community’s economy.
