Abstract

The social problems that are plaguing the Muslim youth require the effectiveness of Islamic education, especially faith education. It is because the goodness of a Muslim society depends on the behavior and morals of the individual which stems from his understanding and religious beliefs. On this basis, Akidah education is reviewed with an effort so that its role can change and shape human capital and subsequently build human civilization. The main purpose of this research is to see the effectiveness of
the faith education approach implemented can shape the personality of students. This study can also identify the characteristics of faith education approaches that need to be understood by educators today. The study was conducted qualitatively in this study. Respondents consisted of teachers and students and chose interview methods and quantitative data as the basis to support this study.
