PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SMART TRIP PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS KELAS V MATERI MATEMATICS AND SHAPE DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH MA’ARIF NAILUL HUDA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of English learning media developed by teachers at Islamic elementary schools. This study used Borg and Gall's research and development design. The research and development steps at Borg and Gall include: 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Product Testing, 7) Product Revision, 8) Usage Trial, 9) Product Revision, 10) Mass Production. Here researchers conduct research and development on learning media, namely Smart Trip media. Which later is expected to help teachers and students in the learning process. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, documentation, interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that the application of Smart Trip learning media is carried out in English learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Nailul Huda Kebonsari Garum Blitar for fifth grade students, totaling 20 people. The application of smart trip learning media is carried out appropriately in the teaching and learning process, so students will have a good understanding of the material being taught.
