PENGARUH MINAT BACA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS ATAS DI MINU JATIREJOYOSO

Abstrak

Parents, teachers, communities, and governments all play a role in a child's educational achievement. Schools are provided by the state and society. Learning achievement cannot be separated from the problem of reading interest, this is because learning achievement is evidence of success in teaching and learning activities.The purpose of this study was to determine: the significant effect of reading interest on student achievement in thematic learning for grades IV, V, VI MINU Jatirejoyoso. Quantitative research was used in this investigation. This research is located at MINU Jatirejoyoso. From all classes that are members of the research population of 178 students, 74 students were selected as research samples. This study used a questionnaire to measure students' reading interests and motivation to learn and compared them to their UAS scores. The results obtained are that there is a positive and significant effect of the variable interest in reading on learning achievement as evidenced by the value of tcount (4.175) > ttable (1.993) and its significance (0.013) < (0.05). So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected.
