Villages in the perspective of the Village Law have optimal legitimacy in utilizing village funds and village fund allocations to realize the welfare of village communities. However, the use of village funds is inseparable from irregularities that lead to criminal acts of corruption. To minimize the potential for corruption of village funds, a method based on good village governance is needed. This research aims to find a model for preventing corruption of village funds based on the concept of good village governance. This type of research is normative legal research, using secondary data analyzed with a statutory approach and conceptual approach. The results of this study found that in addition to using several elements of good village governance consisting of improving the quality of village officials and community awareness, it also requires awareness and legal compliance of village communities to optimize the functions of supervision, accountability and transparency in the management of village funds for the welfare of the community.
