THE APPLICATION OF THE PICTURE AND PICTURE METHOD TO INCREASE STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVENESS

Abstrak

Low student learning activeness is the initial trigger for student learning outcomes that are not optimal. Action is needed in classes that experience a decrease in learning activeness. The application of interesting learning methods is a solution to increase student learning activeness. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the picture and picture method on student learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This research uses classroom action research techniques, with the research sample being 6th grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bandungrejo, Bantur District, Malang Regency. There was an increase in student learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education subjects with the theme of halal-haram while applying the picture and picture learning method . Student learning activeness which initially touched 44.49% was able to increase by 35.04%, so that it became 79.53%. Based on these results, the picture and picture learning method can be applied to increase student learning activeness in Islamic Religious Education learning.
