UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS HURUF KAPITAL MELALUI PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) DI SEKOLAH DASAR MUHAMMADIYAH 37 TANJUNG SELAMAT

Abstrak

The purpose of this research is to use the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to help class II students at Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 37 Tanjung Selamat write capital letters more proficiently. The research method use is the classroom action method. The classroom action research design used in this research consist of two cycles. The findings of the study demonstrate that using the CTL technique to assign students to write letters to their peers successfully enhances their capital letter writing skills. Students continued to struggle with capitalization in cycle I. However, students' ability to correctly write capital letters significantly improved in cycle II. This suggests that the CTL method may be a useful substitute for enhancing second-grade elementary school pupils' proficiency with capital letters.
