Abstrak

Classroom Action Research (CAR) has emerged as a rele vant research method in modern education, responding to critiques of traditional educational research that often appears overly theoretical and disconnected from real classroom practice. Unlike conventional studies that aim for generalizable findings, CAR focuses on solving specific problems faced by teachers in their own classrooms. Influenced by educational reform movements that emphasize teacher professionalism, CAR encourages educators to become reflective practitioners—actively questioning, observing, and seeking ways to improve learning quality. At its core, CAR is a continuous cycle of self-improvement, beginning with the recognition of a problem and leading to empirically tested solutions within the classroom. In this context, CAR serves as a bridge between theory and practice, positioning teachers not merely as research subjects but as key agents who design, implement, and evaluate instructional improvements. Based on the assumption that teachers best understand the unique dynamics of their classrooms, CAR offers solutions that are more relevant, effective, and sustainable.
