The purpose of writing this article is as a narrative of efforts to restore the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as Indonesia's competitive strength in international trade through the Indonesian natural resource sector and Indonesian products. Indonesia is one of the countries with very abundant natural resources, Indonesia's natural resources make Indonesia's strength in the export sector. After Indonesia cooperates with the ASEAN region and China in the AFTA (ASEAN Free Trade Area), it is hoped that there will be an increase in Indonesia's economic growth. The strategy and steps of the State policy are also an important part of this paper, which aims to analyze domestic products with global competitiveness. Indonesia as the object of this discussion also needs observation from the point of view of Islamic economics as a reference to be able to compete in ASEAN countries and China.
