Corporate Governance and Performance of Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance on the performance of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: a) Simultaneously, the CGIP, Asset Composition, Growth Opportunity, and Company Size variables affect ROE at alpha 10%; b) CGIP, Asset Composition, Growth Opportunity, and Company Size have no effect on Tobin's Q at alpha 5% and 10%; c) Corporate governance has a significant effect on company performance; d) Asset composition does not affect Tobin's Q either at 5% or 10% alpha; e) Growth Opportunity does not affect Tobin's Q either at 5% or 10% alpha; f) Company size does not affect Tobin's Q.
