Abstract

This research is highly significant in the context of the application of ethics for teachers and students, which is used in human life, especially in this modern era where ethical decline is increasingly prevalent. The urgency of studying ethics in education is aimed at providing individuals with a strong foundation of integrity in social life, enabling them to face the challenges of change and the evolving times. The formulation and objectives of this research are to determine: What is the concept of teacher and student ethics in education, What factors influence teacher and student ethics, and What benefits are needed for the success of teachers and students in ethics education within the book "Al-Manhaj As-Sawiyyi. This research employs a literature review approach to explore the thoughts of prominent figures. The findings of this research indicate that a teacher should possess the following qualities: fairness, not being ashamed to say "I don't know," caution in issuing fatwas, detachment from worldly possessions, humility, avoidance of arguments and disputes, keeping a distance from authorities, and being gentle with students. On the other hand, students should: purify their hearts and refrain from sinful acts, seek knowledge sincerely, be humble, serve their teachers, acquire knowledge from various sources, and practice moderation in eating and sleeping (asceticism).
