Birokrasi sebagai deskripsi dari model pemerintahan di Indonesai tentunya banyak dipengaruhi
oleh berbagai unsur, misalnya tuntutan reformasi birokrasi sebagai langkah perubahan positif
demi mewujudkan penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik yang baik bagi masyarakat. Dalam
konteks tersebut tidak terlepas perhatian masyarakat bagaimana hal tersebut tetap
memperhatikan “ gender†dalam pelaksanaannya. Sebagaimana diketahui Isu gender juga
melekat pada berbagai hal kajian, tidak terkecuali pada ruang birokrasi. Maka apabila
dikaitakan dengan kebijakan pemerintah dalam penataan organisasi perangkat daerah yang
baru selesai dilaksanakan di lingkup Pemprov. NTT, harapannya kebijakan tersebut tetap
memperhatikan aspek “ gender†dalam pengangkatan dan penempatan pejabat structural di
Lingkup Pemprov NTT
