Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengkaji kontribusi koperasi perkotaan dalam mendorong pembangunan ekonomi yang berpusat pada masyarakat melalui kerangka Local Economic Development (LED). Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dalam paradigma postpositivis, studi ini menyoroti kasus Koperasi Merah Putih di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja koperasi dipengaruhi oleh tata kelola, partisipasi anggota, dukungan kelembagaan, dan kondisi sosial ekonomi lokal. Tata kelola yang baik dan keterlibatan anggota yang aktif berdampak dengan pemerataan sosial dan manfaat ekonomi. Namun, hambatan birokrasi dan kurangnya sinkronisasi kebijakan masih menjadi tantangan utama. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya strategi kontekstual dan tata kelola kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan kinerja koperasi. Kontribusi teoritisnya terletak pada penekanan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dapat memperkuat ekonomi lokal yang inklusif. Rekomendasi kebijakan meliputi dukungan yang terarah, koordinasi pemangku kepentingan yang lebih baik, dan tata kelola yang adaptif.
