Abstrak

Perkembangan teknologi keuangan digital telah mendorong berbagai bank sentral di dunia untuk mengembangkan Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan CBDC dari perspektif ekonomi syariah dengan fokus pada aspek hukum dan keuangan Islam. Analisis dilakukan terhadap kesesuaian karakteristik CBDC dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah, seperti larangan riba, gharar, dan maysir, serta potensi dampaknya terhadap sistem keuangan Islam. Metodologi  yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, menganalisis berbagai literatur dan dokumen  terkait CBDC dan hukum ekonomi syariah termasuk kitab-kitab fiqh klasik, fatwa-fatwa kontemporer, dan dokumen kebijakan bank sentral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi CBDC dapat sejalan dengan prinsip syariah jika dirancang dengan memperhatikan beberapa aspek kritis : penggunaan teknologi yang transparan, mekanisme transaksi yang bebas riba, dan tata kelola yang sesuai dengan maqashid syariah. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi potensi CBDC dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem keuangan syariah, memperluas inklusi keuangan, dan memperkuat pengawasan transaksi keuangan.
