Pola asuh diduga memiliki hubungan dengan psychological well-being mahasiswa. Salah satunya yaitu pola asuh helikopter. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara helicopter parenting dan psychological well-being pada mahasiswa Tionghoa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sebanyak 117 mahasiswa Tionghoa aktif S1 dari institusi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini melalui accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara helicopter parenting dan semua dimensi dalam psychological well-being yaitu autonomy, environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations with others, purpose in life, dan self-acceptance. Semakin kuat penerapan helicopter parenting yang diterapkan pada mahasiswa Tionghoa, semakin rendah psychological well-beingnya. Dengan demikian, disarankan kepada orang tua Tionghoa dapat menerapkan pola asuh yang lebih positif sehingga dapat meningkatkan psychological well-being mahasiswa
