Penerapan Metode User Centered Design dalam Sebuah Aplikasi Penyewaan Ruang Studio Berbasis Website Pada Studio Intro Semarang

Technological developments are now increasingly advanced, especially the use of the Internet and applications that cover all aspects, one of which is in the rental sector. Many methods are supported to help design a rental information system, including the User Centered Design (UCD) method. In this study, the authors applied the User Centered Design method in designing to assist the process of managing the space rental of Studio Intro Semarang. The lack of promotion was due to the obstruction of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused the studio to be less well known to the broader community. The reservation process is still done manually which causes studio users to come in person which will waste a lot of time. The design of the leasing information system is carried out by applying the UCD method using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this information system design produce an application to assist the reservation process and studio management, and as a promotional media to support the Studio Intro Semarang business.
