Peer Review Process

The Journal of Islamic Business And Entrepreneurship (JIBE) implements a peer review process. All articles submitted to JIBE will be reviewed behind closed doors (blind review) by peer reviewers. In general, each article will be reviewed by one to two reviewers (double blind peer review). The responses from these reviewers will be used as a basis for the Editor to determine whether an article can be accepted (accepted), accepted if revised (accepted with major / minor revision), or rejected (rejected). An article is rejected for publication due to various considerations, among which the article is not in accordance with the scope, the scientific side of the writing is inadequate to be classified in a scientific paper, fundamental methodological errors, or because the author refuses to make suggestions for improvement given by the reviewer without a logical basis. All articles submitted will be checked for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin).
