One of the weaknesses of cooperatives in general is the minimal role of all members in the cooperative, the minimal role referred to there is the minimal role in expressing opinions, the minimal role in participating in developing the cooperative and the minimal role in obtaining information. Solution efforts made by cooperatives in realizing the active participation of members can be carried out by implementing a system of joint responsibility because this system contains the spirit of being equally heavy and light and carried, which means togetherness. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection technique used consisted of interviews and observations. The results of this study are that the benefits of joint responsibility in the joint responsibility system implemented by KSPP Bumdesma Ngajum include responsibility, discipline and courage to express opinions, all of which are implementations of the values ​​contained in Islamic economics, namely the principle of monotheism which is described among others is ownership , justice in trying and cooperation in goodness. Joint responsibility is able to bring solutions to cooperative internal problems and can create positive character for its members.
