Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of issuing a maintenance guarantee by Bank BRI on an interior design project carried out by CV Megacilo Pratama at the Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Sports Science, State University of Malang. Maintenance guarantees have an important role in maintaining the quality of work after the project is completed, as well as providing protection for the project owner in the event of damage or non-conformity within the agreed period. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, which collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the process of issuing a maintenance guarantee involves several important stages, including verification of documents and quality of work by Bank BRI. Despite some challenges in terms of coordination, administration, and verification of the quality of work, the issuance of maintenance guarantee provides significant benefits in increasing trust between the contractor and the project owner, as well as ensuring the sustainability of the quality of work. The implications of this study provide recommendations to improve the administrative process and enhance communication between relevant parties, so that the issuance of maintenance guarantee can run more efficiently and effectively in similar projects in the future.
