Journal History

AL-WIJDÁN: Journal of Islamic Education Studies is a journal managed by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Raden Rahmat Islamic University, Malang. AL-WIJDÁN aims to publish research results and review results on Islamic education from various perspectives, which include:  Islamic education management, Islamic education, and peace, character education, Islamic education innovation, educational technology, and Islamic education curriculum, Islamic education elementary, middle, and high levels, Islamic education literacy, and other Islamic studies. A brief history of this journal can be described as follows:

1. AL-WIJDÁN: Journal of Islamic Education Studies was formed in August 2016 by a team of editors from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
2. In November 2016, AL-WIJDÁN published the first issue of Vol. 1 No. 1 with a total of 8 articles and obtained an ISSN SK registered with the number 2541-2051.
3. In 2017, AL-WIJDÁN is published regularly 2 times a year, in June and November.
4. In 2018, AL-WIJDÁN obtained an ISSN SK registered with numbers 2541-3961 (online media) and has also been indexed by Google Scholar, Crossref, and Garuda.
5. On July 9, 2018, through Decree No. 21/E/KPT/2018 regarding Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals Period I Year 2018, AL-WIJDÁN: Journal of Islamic Education Studies successfully accredited SINTA 4.
6. Starting from 2023 this journal will be published in January, April, July, and October.This journal contains articles on research results and conceptual studies on Islamic education either in Indonesia or abroad.
